Assembly and Wiring Unit

Assembly & Wiring Unit

The Assembly and Wiring Unit plays a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of electrical panels. Adhering to international standards at this stage is essential to guarantee that the final product is reliable in terms of electrical performance, safety, durability, and maintainability.

Compliance with IEC 61439 Standards in Panel Assembly

During the assembly of electrical panels, adherence to IEC 61439 standards ensures safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Key requirements include:
✔ Quality of connections and conductors
✔ Type and size of wires
✔ Proper installation of internal panel equipment
✔ Wire identification and numbering
✔ Correct cable cross-section selection
✔ Clear numbering on both ends of each wire
✔ Separation of control and power circuits
✔ Proper torque for screws and fasteners
✔ Correct installation of protective devices, fuses, and terminals
✔ Bending wires within allowed radius (no stretching or kinking)
✔ Use of appropriate lugs/ferrules with standard crimping
✔ Use of standard cable ducts and clamps (PVC or metal with rounded edges)
✔ Preparation of updated as-built drawings after assembly, testing, and approval
✔ Nameplate with panel specifications: voltage, rated current, IP rating, manufacturer, and serial number
✔ Maintaining safe distances between components based on rated current and using DIN rails
